Part of a series of animal illustrations for each letter of the alphabet
This is the first in a series of animal illustrations drawn with the intention of pushing my poses, utilizing more interesting shapes and compositions, and working with a limited color palette. You might notice the background elements owe a lot to the Looney Tunes background art of the mid-1900s; artists like Maurice Noble, Hawley Pratt, and Philip DeGuard. What can I say, I wear my influences on my sleeve.
